All delegates submitting abstracts for consideration in the Congress program were asked whether they would also be interested in submitting a full paper, if invited. Approximately 220 delegates indicated they would.
The abstracts went through the standard Congress assessment. Two reviewers independently assessed each abstract against pre-specified criteria and were blind to the abstract authors and affiliations.
Authors of the twenty-two highest scoring abstracts were invited to write full papers. The guideline for submission of full papers is included in Annex 1.
The Full Paper Review Committee, chaired by Professor John Lowe (Head of the School of Health and Sport Sciences at the University of the Sunshine Coast), then reviewed the submitted full papers.
Eleven of the twenty-two papers were submitted successfully and were considered suitable for publication. They are presented here, in their original form. These delegates will also present them as oral presentations during the Congress concurrent sessions.
We hope you find the reading stimulating.
