CARBON OFFSETTING YOUR TRAVEL TO CONGRESS
Consistent with the Congress aim and themes, wherever possible Congress 2008 will minimise its impact on the environment, and meet minimum standards for international labour and accessibility. We ask delegates to respect these aspirations, and encourage you to offset the CO2 emissions generated by your travel to the Congress and participate in recycling opportunities offered at the
Green Booth during the Congress.

Carbon Neutral has been chosen as the preferred carbon offset provider for Congress.


There are a number of ways you can offset your travel to Brisbane before, during (at the Green Booth) or after Congress:

  • Through your airline
  • On-line through the Carbon Neutral Website
  • Printing an offset form and sending to Carbon Neutral
